7 Women Artists - Opening

I currently have some work showing at Chesterfield College along with 6 other female artists/designers. We are having an opening on Monday 18th March 6-8pm. I will be there and hopefully some other people will be there too!

Alongside 'Lottery Words', this is the first time I have shown my ongoing project 'Waiting', a collection of every waiter order pad I have ever used whilst working as a waitress.

Seven Women Artists

This week I went back to Chesterfield College to hang work for this exhibition! Open from the 8th-26th March, featuring work from many lovely lady artists and designers. Photos to follow shortly.

Hand Stitch - Perspectives

Some of my work features in a new book called 'Hand stitch - Perspectives' by Alice Kettle and Jane McKeating. It's released tomorrow and to celebrate its launch there is an accompanying exhibition which also includes some of my work. 

The exhibition tours with the Knitting and Stitching Show;

Restructured

Lately I've been fixing even more broken eggs for an exhibition in London called 'Restructured'. The exhibition is part of the Bloomsbury Festival and will preview on Friday 19th October, running until 25th October.

5.8 x 4.1 Exhibition

I recently donated a piece of work for the "5.8 x 4.1" exhibition, organised by the 3rd year Embroidery students at MMU. All work is for sale anonymously by silent auction to help fundraising for their degree show.

The show runs till the 8th of December at Holden Gallery Cafe in The Grosvenor Building, MMU. You can see all the entries by following the link bellow.

Word Play at S.I.T.

I went down to Stroud last week to hang my work in the Museum in the Park 'Word Play' exhibition as part of the Stroud International Textile Festival. The festival and exhibition is on till the 22nd of May!
